Since 2006, the original ChokeFree™ has not put pressure on the pet's trachea or windpipe.  There are similar step-in designs that claim to be non-choking or choke-free but they may still place pressure on the pet's windpipe and cause choking and gagging.  The center portion of our soft smooth one-piece patented ChokeFree™ design touches the pet in-between the pet's front legs, and not the pet's forechest area, ensuring no pressure placed on the windpipe -- even if you have to lift them out of a dangerous situation using a leash!

TO MEASURE: WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW & USE A FABRIC TAPE MEASURE and measure around your dog just behind the front paws over the back. Needs to be snug, but not tight. Be sure to measure against the skin -- not the fur. Then, add an inch for comfort.  This is very important, as you want the harness to be snug, but not too tight that the pet can't breathe!

The sizes available fit 2 inch increments:

XS fits 11" - 12"

S fits 13" - 14"

M fits 15" - 16"

L fits 17" - 18"

XL fits 19" - 20"

THESE HARNESSES ARE STOCKED IN-HOUSE AND ARE USUALLY AVAILABLE.  IF THEY ARE ON BACK-ORDER, THAT WILL BE SHOWN ON THE SYSTEM.  IF COMBINED WITH OTHER ITEMS, ALL ITEMS WILL BE HELD UNTIL THE BACK-ORDER IS RESOLVED.

MEASURE CAREFULLY, AS WE ARE NOT ALWAYS ABLE TO OFFER AN EXCHANGE.  IF AN EXCHANGE IS NECESSARY, YOU MUST RETURN THE HARNESS, WITH TAG AND CHAIN INTACT, IN THE PLASTIC SLEEVE IN WHICH IT WAS SHIPPED.
